“The Bigger Picture Tools” project is about capacity building in organizations providing learning opportunities to adults. It is a project formulating a global competence framework for adults and adult educators and global training courses for educators. The project is being developed in response to ongoing global challenges in the context of sustainable development goals.
Big Pic:
- Provide educators with resources and tools to be used in delivering global learning within education.
- Improve the subject knowledge and pedagogical competencies of educators to deliver global education using the resources and tools developed
- Improve adults’ knowledge and understanding of global issues
- Improve the global and intercultural competencies of educators
- Provide practical strategies for engaging adults, including the teaching of controversial issues
The project is aligned to:
- Erasmus + Objectives
- the Europe 2020 Strategy, including the headline education target;
- the objectives of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020), including the corresponding benchmarks;
